Time Marches On...

I looked forward to seeing this little man each time I went to church. Sharyn said he looked forward to seeing me too. She said he would sit in his car seat and say quietly to himself "Mo-Mae" I used to carry him around. Play with him. Make him laugh. Teach him words. Held him if he was upset. I was his favorite.

"Mo-Mae" soon gave way to "Mo-Mae and A-win"
Enthralled with my new friend, Silas enjoyed playing with his multi-tool and talking to him. There were times when Silas had no interest in me and just wanted to stay with Aaron. Anita, his grandma, said that Silas told her "I'm going to go see Lau-Mae and A-win" "Who are you going to see?" She asked him just to hear his cute reply. "A-win!"

This little guy has grown along with all the other little ones. The Youth Group now consists of the children I used to play with. Not being able to see my church family as often as I was used to has been hard on me.

But when you are family even when things change you can be sure that what is foundational will not change.
